Learn how to make Kalakand, Indian style milk cake recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Kalakand is a popular sweet dessert recipe prepared from milk and khawa. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />1/4th Litre Milk <br />75 gms Sugar <br />1/2 kg Khawa / Mawa <br />1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder <br />Almonds, chopped <br />Pistachios, chopped <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In pan add milk and sugar. Let the milk boil completely. <br />- Keep stirring the milk till it reaches half of its quantity. <br />- Then add grated khawa. Keep stirring. <br />- Add cardamom powder. Mix well. <br />- Remove the mixture in an aluminium tray. <br />- Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios. <br />- Let the kalakand set for two hours. <br />- Cut it in thick slices and serve.
